HOUSTON – Season 4 of “The Evidence Room” kicked off Tuesday night with an Insider exclusive premiere event!

Ten Insiders and their plus ones were invited to the KPRC 2 studios to view the first episode of the new season, “The Stiletto Killer.” They also got to dine with the KPRC 2 Investigates team and get their questions about our award-winning docuseries answered by the creators themselves.

We dive into Season 4 of ‘The Evidence Room’ with a case that gripped the nation in 2013, largely because of the murder weapon involved. The 5-inch blue suede pump Ana Trujillo used to kill her former boyfriend, University of Houston professor Stefan Andersson, is one of several unusual items KPRC 2 Investigates is able to examine through our unprecedented access to the Harris County criminal archives.

Trujillo became known the world over as ‘The Stiletto Killer,’ and her crime challenged what we think about domestic violence and self-defense.

After viewing the episode, Insiders asked questions and got answers about the stiletto killer case, other cases featured in past seasons of “The Evidence Room” - and much more.

There were also lighter moments with the Insiders as they gathered in Studio B at KPRC. Becoming an Insider is free and gives you access to special events, sweepstakes, and exclusive content. Sign up on click2houston.com/insider.
