It’s Thursday, and the buzz of hammers and the clinking of hard hats have descended upon the parking lot of KPRC 2. Yes, you heard it right! Volunteers are gearing up for a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground adventure as they unite to construct walls for another Habitat for Humanity home. Get ready for a thrilling ride as we kick off day two of our annual Habitat build!

The KPRC 2 news team is diving headfirst into the action, eager to lend their support in building walls for a family’s new Habitat home. This marks the 11th year of our fantastic partnership with Habitat for Humanity, an organization dedicated to creating homes for local families in need.

Originally slated to start building the frame on Tuesday, Mother Nature had other plans with freezing temperatures causing a reschedule. But fear not, Houston – we’re back and ready to roll!

As each nail is hammered and each wall is raised, we move one step closer to a world where everyone has a place to call home. Stay tuned for more updates on KPRC 2′s annual home build – an inspiring journey of community, commitment, and the joy of giving back.
