Houston lowrider club holds 32nd annual Christmas toy drive

HOUSTON – The Latin Fantasy Lowrider Club held its 32nd annual toy drive on Christmas Day in Houston.

The event is known as Juguetes Para El Barrio. Community members gave out beautiful toys and goodie bag to kids.

Volunteers also wore Christmas hats and dressed up as elves. They passed out the toys in their lowriders.

They also played holiday music to get others in the Christmas spirit.

“Especially, when you see kids with a big smile on their face even though they’re getting a small little toy, it makes them happy, and that’s what brings us joy,” an event organizer said.
