ASK 2: Where can you donate non-working cars around the Houston area?

At KPRC 2, we’re dedicated to keeping Houstonians informed. As part of our Ask 2 series, the newsroom will answer your questions about all things Houston.

Here’s today’s question...

HOUSTONAsk 2: “Any organization that accepts donated non-working cars?”

Justina’s answer: I have two great options for you!

You could donate to a rage room. It will ease your mind and others who are looking to reduce stress.

Break Life Houston is a great location to reach out to.

If you would like to make an impact on your community, you could also donate to organizations like America Can! Cars for Kids. The organization gives back to youth in the Houston area.

Justina spoke with Colin Weatherwax, CEO of the charity, to learn more about the organization.

“We accept vehicle donations to give kids an opportunity to build a better future. We are here to take any vehicle running or not. We pick up the vehicle at any time that is available for the donor and in return, the money that is raised from selling that vehicle goes back into the communities that you live and work in,” stated Weatherwax.
