‘Uh-Oh the Clown’ murders: How to chat live with us during an all-new episode of ‘The Evidence Room’

Fans of the KPRC 2 Investigates award-winning true crime docuseries ’The Evidence Room’ can chat live with show producers when an all-new episode premieres Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. on the KPRC 2+ livestream.

The new episode examines a stunning act of brutality that took the lives of two little girls playing in their northwest Harris County home more than three decades ago.

One of their neighbors was a man named Rex Warren Mays, who sometimes performed as ‘Uh-Oh the Clown’ entertaining children at parties.

But on July 20, 1992, Mays’ dark side took over.

Just hours after being fired from his day job, Mays stabbed 7-year-old Kynara Carreiro and her best friend, 10-year-old Kristin Wiley, in a middle-of-the-day attack so violent - so heartless - our community would never be the same.

From crime scene photos to the killer’s cold confession - and a father’s relentless fight for justice - there’s a lot to unpack in this episode. And we want to hear your thoughts as you watch. No matter what device you’re using to stream ‘The Evidence Room’ on KPRC 2+ - you can join our conversation at click2houston.com/livechat.

Don’t miss ‘Uh-Oh the Clown’ Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. exclusively on KPRC 2+.

“The level of true crime filmmaking is unmatched in this series. It is on the level of classics like Cold Case Files and Forensic Files, as it is made with real access to investigators/evidence and with unseen video/photos from the crimes and trials.”
