Mauricio Dubón wins arbitration case, will make $3.5 million in 2024, sources say

Astros Gold Glove-winning utility man Mauricio Dubón has won his arbitration case, a league source told KPRC 2′s Ari Alexander.

Dubón will make $3.5 million in 2024. The Astros filed for him to earn $3.0 million. Dubón is the only arbitration-eligible player the Astros didn’t reach a settlement with.

The Honduran utility man won the Gold Glove for AL Utility in 2023, playing 132 games for the Astros, playing mostly at second base and center field.

Dubón hit .278 with a career-high 10 home runs and a career-high 46 RBI in his first season as a full-time player.
